The Philips N1500 VCR came onto the market in 1972 and is regarded as the first domestic video cassette recorder.

Initially the video tapes could only record 45 minutes, but later Philips reformulated the tape on a thinner substrate to make hour long recordings possible.

Tapes are referred to as VC30, VC45 and VC60.

The Video 2000 system succeeded the Philips NV1500/1700 video system and used a cassette tape which could be turned over allowing recording to be made on both sides of the tape. Tapes are referred to as VCC 360, 460.

By transferring your Philips N1500, Philips N1700 & V2000 recordings to DVD you can future proof your memories, ensuring you can watch them again and again.

We are able to convert any region (NTSC, PAL etc) to DVD.

Each DVD is personalised to your requirements. Chapters, interactive menus, background music can all be added.
